The Minor Division is the first level of play in which batters face players pitching with regulation hard baseballs.  8 through 11 year olds are eligible to play in this division.   11 year old players who are new to baseball or who have only played one year in the Minor Division may request to play in the Minor Division (preferably prior to the Evaluations).

The Minor Division teams play in a regional league, possibly including Beaver Valley, Castlegar, Nelson, and Salmo.  The game schedules include approximately 12 games.  Games can be split fairly even between home and away.  However, game location is dependent on number of players and number of local teams.  As an example, last season we had four Trail teams in the Minor Division; accordingly, the majority of games were at home.  Games are generally scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays - but this also depends on number of games played in the regional league and field availability in the other communities.

Teams will have three field times per week, on average (field times include games and practices).  Season schedule is to be determined, ending by the week of June 26th.
